I have a long list of things I want to do in Washington. Unfortunately, life gets busy and I don’t always have time to mark these activities off of my list. I create a bucket list each year of different activities to try in Washington state.
Feel free to save this page as your own bucket list, or contact me with tips and tricks for some of these items. As I mark items off of my list I’ll link my blog posts about them below.
Washington Bucket List
01
Backpack the North Coast Trail
A 30+ mile backpacking trip on the olympic coast.
02
Kayak on the White Salmon
This river offers some of the best kayaking and rafting in the state. A highlight here is running Husum falls!
03
Through Hike the Enchantments
I’ve been trying to get back on this trail ever since I completed it two years ago!
04
Sleep in a Fire Lookout
There are many different areas where you can do this, and I am looking for a remote hike to sleep in a fire lookout.
07
Fish for Salmon on the Skagit
The Skagit is the only WA river that is home to all 5 species of pacific salmon. I’m looking forward to catching some here!
05
Westport Crabbing Derby
I look forward to catching crab in the annual Westport Washington crabbing derby!
06
Camp in the North Cascades
Each year I spend a few weekends in the North Cascades. I always put it on my bucket list because this is my favorite area in Washington!
